*Suresh Kumar Poddar takes over as Vice Chairman*
*Mr Anand Singhal and Mr Suresh Kumar Poddar *have been elected as Chairman
and Vice Chairman respectively of the Confederation of Indian Industry
Rajasthan for the year 2014 -15. The newly elected Council of CII Rajasthan
met at the close of the Annual Session in Jaipur today.
*Mr Anand Singhal *belongs to a prominent and reputed Business House of
Jaipur. He is Masters in Business Administration and known for his vision,
responsiveness, transparency, dynamism and decision-making.
Mr Singhal has extensive administrative experience of 39 years in Jaipur
Rajasthan - as Founder Chairman of the 'Kandoi Group' and established
manufacturing units, diversified in Tourism, Real Estate and Education
field. *Mr Anand Singhal is also the Chairman of the Desert Inn Limited and
Global Group of Engineering and Management colleges.*
Mr Singhal has widely travelled to U.S.A., U.K., Australia, Europe,
Switzerland, Singapore, China, Brazil, Thailand, etc.
*Mr Suresh Kumar Poddar is the Chairman & Managing Director of Mayur
Uniquoters Limited,* a company listed in Bombay Stock Exchange and National
Stock Exchange. The company is engaged in the manufacture of Artificial
Leather, providing employment to 650 people and is the market leader in
this field. The company has received the following Awards:
*"Inc India 500" in the year 2011*
- *"Forbes Asia Top 200 Best under a Billion Company Award" in the year
2012-13*
Mr Poddar is an active social worker. He is associated with various Social
Organizations working for the benefit of human being. He was two times
Secretary of Rambagh Golf Club and actively participated in the betterment
of Rambagh Golf Club since last 15 years. Mr Poddar is a very keen Golfer.
Mr Poddar is very much involved in spirituality and started "*Gaurange
Institute for Vedic Education*" at Jaipur. This Institute is working since
last 4 years and successfully transformed the life of many people.
